Everyone knows that terminal design is precise, and even a slight touch can cause deformation. This deformation can lead to assembly difficulties, and in severe cases, it can cause poor electrical performance. Next, let's introduce how the wire processing factory achieves terminal wire protection!
When the terminals are supplied, most of them are disc mounted and partially circular ring terminals are shaft mounted. The chain like terminals are protected by paper tape between them, and are protected by customized paper plates or plastic shafts on the outside.
During the production process, there are corresponding shafts on the terminal machine to fix the terminal plate! After connecting the terminal wires, place them in a fixed cup, protect them with rubber bands, and then place them inside a customized box. When packaging, if there are exposed terminals, bubble bags will be added for protection.
A wiring harness is composed of two parts: connectors and wires. Here is an introduction to the structure and function of the terminals in the connector:
1. Contact end (contact area): the part that makes power contact with the pins of the needle holder;
2. Wire bucket: the part where conductors are crimped;
3. Insulation cylinder: the part that fixes the insulation skin of the wire;
4. Bell shaped inlet sleeve: a part that protects the wire from breakage and surface wear;
5. Spear shaped hook: a locking hook used when inserting into a casing;
6. Cut off piece: the residual part of the material strip after cutting;
7. Serrated protrusion: a groove inside the wire barrel to ensure good contact of the wires;
